color notes: Maroon stems; white waxy coating under leaves of most, but not all, plants.

INFLORESCENCE

form: pendent
orientation: distichous
bract color: Red, sometimes with thin yellow line on lip.
rachis: Red, sometimes yellow on younger rachis.
