Now that the plant is older, it has a tendency to lean over and even break.

VEGETATION

habit: musoid
height: 4 - 5 meters
stems per clump: many (much stronger than the orthotricha I labeled Edge of Nite)
comment: The plant has a tendency to lean to the breaking point. An effect of shade perhaps.

bract color: dark red with darker lip, then bordered in very fine green line
rachis: covered by bracts
