The coloration is different from the pogonanthas I have seen in Panama.
We had a long wait for the first blooms!

- habitat notes: just behind barbed wire in area of mixed pasture and secondary forest

- comment: The plant seemed to have some kind of fungus, so we planted it where it would not infect other plants. Now it looks great, but hasn't flowered
